3 Overview

This chapter presents an overview of the patterns and any additional information needed to fully understand them and the problems they solve. This is discussed in § 3.1. Section 3.2 presents an overview of the pattern categories, § 3.3 describes the conventions used in this work, and finally § 3.4 introduces the example application used to showcase the patterns.
